The digital economy

Building the infrastructure for connected markets.

Our digital-assets programme brings together exchange technology, settlement design, customer onboarding and the operating systems required for organised markets. The objective is a coherent infrastructure that can support centralised and peer-to-peer models, with market entry, product availability and operating permissions established for each jurisdiction and intended participant group.

Digital Assets & Market Infrastructure

Technology and market structure, developed together.

A functioning marketplace depends on more than a trading interface. Listings, trading, wallet and custody coordination, API connectivity and conversion rails form part of our platform-development scope. These functions are considered alongside reliable asset records, market supervision and consistent financial reconciliation across the full operating environment.

Our marketplace-development agenda considers institutional access, exchange services and peer-to-peer participation across different market and product contexts. Introduction into a jurisdiction is organised around local requirements, the intended scope of activity and the readiness of the relevant operating entity.

Our focus

Where we concentrate.

01

Exchange operating systems

Our technology agenda covers exchange operating systems, enterprise software and the infrastructure connecting order flow, asset records, market access and operating oversight. Centralised and decentralised models are considered according to their use case, participant responsibilities and technical requirements.

02

Peer-to-peer markets

Peer-to-peer trading is a central component of our marketplace strategy, including the Islamic digital-finance agenda. The design considers participant verification, transaction conditions, settlement coordination and dispute handling, supporting direct participation through a structured process with clear responsibilities for buyers, sellers and platform operators.

03

Identity and financial integrity

Identity and compliance capabilities form part of the market-infrastructure design. A layered architecture combines internal oversight with specialist verification services. Its scope encompasses KYC, KYB, transaction monitoring, review procedures, Travel Rule workflows and reporting, configured for the relevant operating model and local supervisory requirements.

04

Settlement and operating control

Our market-infrastructure proposals include a Digital Asset Settlement layer/switch, defined wallet responsibilities and daily transaction reconciliation. Operating design covers opening balances, completed receipts, quantities and prices, deductions, pending or reversed activity and settlement allocation, with records capable of review and certification by the responsible finance teams.

Our approach

From conviction to execution.

Establish the market

Integrate the systems

Connect trading, identity, custody or wallet arrangements, settlement records and oversight into a consistent operating process.

Prepare for launch

Complete the required approvals, operational reviews and commercial preparation before activating services for the relevant market.
